Day 4, 30 Days of Sober Sunrises

Day 4, July 2nd, Tuesday, 5:49 am

Windy, mostly cloudy, cooler, high tumultuous waves, some light and pale peach on the horizon.

Like half light and half dark.

Arlo is with me.

He seems mesmerized by the waves, kind of in a trance, or maybe he's just really tired.

A little edgy today, but mostly relaxed.

Thinking about what's ahead, the drive to meet Pete and switch out the kids...

Colors deepening on the horizon now, dark pink where the sun might show herself.

The colors are such a contrast dark grey waters, white wave caps, pink highlight on the horizon, light blue next to grey sky with a golden sand at the forefront, it's really pretty.

Soft blended colors now, less contrast, absolutely stunning, wasn't expecting it to be this vibrant or colorful.

She showed her full globe and then instantly as soon as she came she disappeared behind the clouds.

You need to be here to see the beauty, only showing off for a second.

She comes, she goes, leaves you eager for more, a smile on your face, a feeling of gratitude, and making you feel oh so special.

I'm smirking at her femininity here.

She is glorious and will slip through your hands like sand.

You can't hold on to her, she is to be appreciated and enjoyed from a far.

Sun, oh glorious sun! Thank you! 6:12 am

Feelings: delighted, happy, thankful

Oracle: 3 cards presented themselves in the wind.
Hummingbird Spirit, Joy.
Purpose in life is to experience Joy!
Take steps toward that now while portecting your personal boundaires.
True happiness comes from the dictates of your soul!

Water Spirit, Manifesting Dreams
Water flows in cycles and right now you are in a a cycle of manifesting your dreams, don't stop the flow by doubting or hesitating, allow your emotions the freedom to be expressed. Timing is everything, and right now is your time!

Secret Spring, Success
Act as if and feel as if you are wildly successful and evn more suucess will develop. If a situation seems to know you down get up, and take a moment to explore what you learned and then keep going!
Vitality and a glowing youthful renewal of your body are occurring. Now is the time to take action in support of your dreams. There is no need to struggle. The Universe has your back!

About the 30 days of Sober Sunrise Project:

These entries are dedicated to my 6th year of living an alcohol-free life. I have discovered that I love sunrises in my new life. So, I decided to do a writing project of documenting 30-days of sober sunrises over the Atlantic ocean. I rented a house within walking distance to Carolina Beach to make this happen. My family and a few friends will be rotating in and out during this time.

I have no agenda or goal about the outcome. I am curious and fascinated about what might happen.

But most importantly, I just happy that I gave myself the chance for this to even be possible. I am thankful for every person who has helped me get here, past and present, good and bad. They all played a role and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't the experiences in my life (even all the excessive drinking) before this very moment. Let's see what happens!
